Isaiah 66:18-19 For I know their works and their thoughts, and I am coming to gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come and shall see my glory, and I will set a sign among them. From them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Put, and Lud—which draw the bow—to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away that have not heard of my fame or seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the nations.
“See my children? I am doing a new thing. Behold I make all things new. There is nothing that can prepare you for what is about to happen. Lean therefore on me. My children, I hold you in the palm of my hand. Do you believe this? Then why do you worry as if you have no God at the helm of your ship? Embrace the will of God in each moment and place your trust in him alone. A day will come when you will look back and be amazed at the ways your Lord led you on the path even though you could not see it at the time. Trust and be at peace, dear ones. Shalom.”
Heavenly Father, God of light and life, grant us the graces we need in order to live only and always in your holy and perfect will. Help us to follow you in complete trust, and help us to be signs of hope to those you send us. Jesus we trust in you. Come Holy Spirit! Amen.
